Some of my favorite quotes from our conversation:
- “You have to think of acting as a muscle that you have to train and strengthen.”
- “I can’t stress how important training was for me.”
- “You can’t truly act if you don’t know the words.”
- “You can look up monologues. You can film yourself on your phone. Anything you can to just practice performing is so necessary.”
- “You really have to stay true to yourself.”
- “I do truly believe everything happens for a reason.”
- “Do a play because you’ll quickly find out if you want this life or not.”
- "If it’s something you want to do, and something you have a passion for, there are so many things that no one can prepare you for until you’re in it.”
- “If you work hard at it, and it’s truly your passion and what you love, it’s inevitable that you will succeed.”

It’s easy to think that success comes overnight if you don’t know the backstory of an artist. But Laura has been working and pursuing her dream since she was a young child. And today she is transitioning successfully from child actor to adult actor, which has it’s own challenges.
Having someone to guide you through those challenges can make a big difference. If you could use some support in navigating your own journey as a young adult actor, or your child’s journey if you are a parent, book a consultation with me. In a single session, we can cover all your concerns, address issues you may not have considered, and create an action plan. Best of all: we can work together from anywhere! Most of my consultations happen over the phone or Skype. So you don't have to be in LA to benefit from my experience. In 60 to 90 minutes you can get peace of mind and know what steps to take next.
I look forward to talking with you!
